About the blog

About me

I’m currently a first second year student in med school in Chicago.  In a past life I was an eecs major at MIT (long story).  I couldn’t be happier to be on my way to being a doctor…every day I feel more passionate about my future career.

I’m also a snowboarder struggling to break into the pros keep my skills sharp for the future.

About this blog

This thing is mainly a way to hold all my thoughts and experiences throughout my career as a (future) doctor. Who knows? It might make for fun reading when I’m old, retired, and in search of evidence to base my “when I was your age” parables on.  Until then, it’s an outlet for my semi-creative/introspective side.  I enjoy writing – not to be confused with “I am good at writing” – and I come across all sorts of random stuff in the course of my day that just scream for random online attention.  And don’t fit neatly into 140 characters.

My life aside, I’d be happy to answer questions/help if you’re on the same path as I am.  Hopefully when I look back, this will have made some difference. :)
